The Rockaway Township Public Schools recognizes its responsibilities to locate, identify and provide appropriate services for students in the district who may have special needs and/or disabilities. These special services are administered by the Special Education Department and are consistent with both state and federal regulations. Rockaway Township’s special education programs range from self-contained special education classrooms to support services within the general education classroom. Therapeutic and related services are available and may include speech/language therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
